His ranch was the focal point for family gatherings for over 50 years. He was generous almost to a fault with those he loved and admired. ![]() Angelo will long be remembered for his love and dedication to his family and friends and his wonderful, sweet sense of humor. At the same time, Angelo began acquiring ranch land in the Pryor, Colorado area and for decades ran cattle on his sprawling ranch. After the war he returned to Aguilar where he opened up the City Bar and Café. He fought in WWII and was a decorated WWII veteran. He worked there until he went into the Army. Angelo was born in Colorado and moved to Chicago in 1933. He is survived by one sister, Stella Barbaro of Colorado Springs, and many nieces and nephews. We all loved Connie, our Mom, our Grandma and our Nana, very much! Although we will miss her deeply, we are comforted to know she is with God in Heaven now and watching over us. ![]() Connie is survived by her daughter, Nancy L. Connie loved her family more than anything. Connie was a beautiful, intelligent woman who lived her life with dignity, compassion, generosity and grace.
